Human Anatomy - 'Colour Atlas & Text' 4th edition (2002) by Gosling, Harris, Whitmore & Willan published by Mosby, Edinburgh and London is true to its title. It is worth the price, for the content provided.

A good atlas with apposite text aptly set along for effortless learning by the new entrants to the topic and valuable even for those revising for teaching or learning.

Time constraints imposed by the Medical Council of India make it virtually imperative for students and teachers alike to look for books of this order .They find this book very much in place as a helpful aid for smooth sailing through troubled waters. The photographs are excellent and provide much needed near natural look. It almost gives a chance to imagine the feel of the texture. Of course, nothing can substitute for the real thing. So it is no alternative to dissection but a definite valuable companion to it.

It is the set of MCQ s at the end of each chapter that make it helpful for revision and pertinent during preparation to entry into post-graduate courses. This provides the much needed grasp of the subject in thought provoking manner.

Clinical case studies clubbed with this help the students attain desirable level and endow with the anatomical basis of clinical entities.

The book is worth possessing and there should be no dithering in recommending it to fervent learners of Human Anatomy
