The Achutha Menon Centre for Health Science Studies of the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum is organizing a national conference on Emerging issues in public health during January 11-13, 2008 at Trivandrum. We are planning to offer some scholarships based on the abstracts submitted to the conference. Abstracts should be structured (background, Methods, Results and conclusions) and not more than 250 words. The deadline for the abstract submission is October 15, 2007. We will provide you more information on the conferene in a seperate website soon. Abstracts topics include communicable diseases, maternal and perinatal conditions, nutritional problems (Day one) noncommunicable diseases and risk factors (day two) and health systems and human resources for public health (day three).
