HIV/ AIDS, disability and rehabilitation   Posted By Ritu Bhatewara    Date : 10-Feb-04   07:43 AM     Reply

Hello all! HIV is a major cause of death nowadays. However little attention is paid to the disabilitating effects of it-be it a functional/anatomical impairment or participation restriction due to HIV+ status. I would like to know more about the disability in HIV. I know that HIV causes dementia and that cognitive behaviour therapy helps (I have some reference articles). I welcome your views on this issue and would be interested in knowing more about HIV/AIDS, Disability and Rehabilitation.

Many thanks, Ritu
