Iris Cyst   Posted By K.S.Sangha    Date : 24-Jul-00   08:02 PM     Reply

An aphakic eye, successfully operated for R.D.(R.D. in Aphakia) seven yrs. back, comes a few days back with an IOP of 27 & complaints of redness & watering. On exam. V.A.= 6/36 (she had the same V.A. post retinal reattachment, 7 yrs. back) & peripheral ant. synechia in upper quadrant due to an iris cyst.

Should the cyst be removed with 1) vit. cutter or with 2) a traditional limbal section & iredectomy & cyst removal?
