Hello Sir, On 10th July 2008 ,I(35yrs) was diagnosed of having Pituitary Microadenoma (2mm) thro'gh a MRI Scan.I presented with c/o glactorrea-2 mths, blurring of vision only on stressing .On Investigating ,my S.LH/FSH/Prolactin/Thyroid Profile were normal with MRI Scan showing 2mm Adenoma at Pituitary Stalk. Iam prescried with Cabergolin 0.5 mg twice a week.Iam having nausea ,headache, blurring of vision even after two weeks of treatment. Iam also having hirtuisium,PCOD and Insulin Resistance(low S. Fasting Insulin Levels) taking Tab. Metformin-BD. My SProlactin (pooled sample )was repeated before starting Treatment, also waiting for SCortisol /Testosterone Levels. I would like to have your opinion on my case ,is it possible that I may require surgery if no response to treatment ,what will be the length of my treatment. thank you.
