Problem Of Eye Lid Drooping and Difficulty in climbing height of more than 1 foot   Posted By Dhananjay Mehta    Date : 24-Jun-08   02:13 AM     Reply

Dear Sir, My 21 year daughter is facing the following problems.

a)Quite Often her Right eye lids droop.Particularly in the evening after a day's hectic activity. b)She can climb a height of 1 foot but find it very difficult when the height is more,e.g.climbing middle or upper bearth in a train,or getting in to a jeep or bus. c)Her health is o.k. other wise.

We took openion of Two Neuro Physicins in Ahmedabad.

Following clinical examinations are conducted so far. 1)CPK, 2)RNS, 3)NCV/EMG, 4)Tensilon, 5)Blood, 6)Urine, 7)X-Ray Chest, 8)ECG

It appears that the doctors have not been able to reach a definate conclusion whether the disease is Myopathy or Myasthenia.

What should be the further course of action? Is there any cure?

Dhananjay Mehta.
