Hello Sir

Myself Dr.Zaki Mavli (Recently MBBS graduate and about to appear for USMLE step2 Ck in Jan-08) from Baroda, Gujarat. Since last 1-2 months I am suffering from Floaters in Eye without any associated eye problems.I have no history of diseases like Diabets,Hypertension or any communicable diseases like tuberculosis. My father is having diabetes and currently taking oral hypoglycemic drugs. I am myopic and in right eye: SPH= (-4.0) Cyl: (-0.50) Axis 90 Vision-6/6 with glasses and left eye :- SPH: (-3.75) CYL (-0.50) Axis 90 Vision 6/6 with glasses. I got eye checkup to opthalmologist and diangnosed lattice degenration of retina in left eye with no problem in right eye. I want to know that is there any treatment to prevent the progess?? or Lattice degeneration of retina is benign or progressive disease. And is there any preventive prophylactic cure if this problem is progressive. I would be thankful to get back reply from you,
