Dear Dr. One of my friend,age-29 years.Suffering from SOL-C3 to C6,Astrocytoma (Glioblastoma Multiforme (WHO-Grade IV).He is operated in Command hospital,Air-Force, Bangalore in Dec.2006.But Resent PET-CAT SCAN & MRI-Cervical-Spine & Dorso-Lumber Spine shows:Repid growth of residual tumor's soft tissues & no significant decrease in tumor size. But No Evidence of Cord/Meningeal Metastasis. We were Considering about 'BRACHY-THERAPY' OR PHOTO-DYNAMIC THERAPY WITH INJ. TEMOZOLOMIDE.An Eminent Neuro-Surgeon from Global-Hospital, U.S.A. Adviced for 'GAMMA-KNIEF SURGERY in U.S.A.,I wanted to take second opinion from you that whether any of these therapies will be benificial for him or not? Can you suggest some new line of treatment. Please let me know immediately. Thanks. Regards, -SHAILENDRA-
