fungal infection at the junction of foreskin and penis   Posted By mathew    Date : 27-Jan-07   02:39 PM     Reply

Since the last 3 months i have a doubt there is some fungal infection at the junction of foreskin and penis. it started with a burning sensatation during sex .. on close observation i found a small cut about 3-5 milimeter long at the junction ( i think the cut must have occured because of streaching of some what dry skin during sex). I consulted a allopath he gave me some antibiotic and did blood test for dibetics, colerestol, and uric acid, All tests are normal only uric acid is slighly on higher side also the cut healed in 5 days ... But since then i feel that the skin at the junction will tear off and it pains slightly on foreplay , I notice there is a slight colour change at the junction it looks slightly grey coloured otherwise it looks normal. I doubt it must be some fungal infection as there are some small greyish black patches on my back which another skin doctor has said is fungal infection and had given some medicine, but it came back again/ please help me
