Medical Malpractices   Posted By Brijesh Babu Kolangath    Date : 29-Nov-11   12:49 AM     Reply

Medical Malpractices exists in different forms ranging from prescribing a substandard medicine by the doctor in return for a irresistible offer from the MR to illegal organ transplantation. Health care business had grown into the largest business after retailing .Parallel to that there developed an organized Mafia exploiting the common man in the name of Health care. The effort to curb the medical malpractices should start from the doctor. The corporate managements also needs to develop that social responsibility and this will lead to a reduction in the medical malpractices across the health care sector. The role of the regulatory bodies like the Indian medical council and the ministry of Health should also work in coordination with the Indian medical association to have a check on the malpractices going on in this sector. We should also take efforts to create awareness among the common man regarding the medical malpractices happening so that they can prevent this at their level.
