a 10 year old boy reported with penoscrotal hypospadias and rt undescended testes. USG to look for the testes showed a well defined fluid filled sac behind the bladder which was confirmed by CT scan. On exploration a testis looking structure was found in the lumbar region which connected by tube to the saccular structure behind the bladder mimicking an ovary and tube with uterus. Sac was ending blindly. HPE of the sac, testis looking mass and tube showed just an epithelial lined structure with no teste, ovary or ovotestes. We are poceeding with a hypospadias repair. Is sex determination required for the boy? What can be the saccular structure and the mass be?
